...And A Moment of Grace...

I'm currently taking a break from writing a paper on Samuel Johnson's "The Vanity of Human Wishes" and listening to Jeff Buckley's Grace.

This album is beautiful. "Lover, You Should've Come Over" leaves me feeling as if I'm floating atop a bed of clouds.

Oh, What A Difference It Makes!

I woke up this morning feeling good about myself and in a wonderful mood.

I love feeling this way.

Olives!!

I spent the entire morning picking olives with my pa from our olive tree. I will be marinating them by myself...for the first time! I hope they turn out tasty. We'll find out in about a month. :)

I am spending this evening making raspberry jam, reading, and watching copious amounts of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

I feel like such an old lady.

Sinking...Sinking...Sinking.

My heart is sinking and everything else seems to be sinking along with it.

Today was awful. This week has been awful. I don't know what I can do to help her.

Should I Stay Or Should I Go?

I'm conflicted as to whether I should transfer in the Fall of 2009 or wait an extra year before transferring. If I stay an extra year, I will save a ton of money and maybe even discover a double major or a minor. I will learn more about myself and improve certain things that definitely need improvement. Then again, I'm disappointed because I've spent the past year daydreaming about leaving home and finally living on my own.

My application essays are finished and ready to be submitted, but is this really something I want to jump into?
